Dr. Thomas makes a priority of educating patients about proper foot health and care.

• If you have Medicare and diabetes with certain parameters (PVD, Neuropathy, Foot deformity) then you qualify for diabetic shoes and inserts. These are custom fit to the patient in our office and sent out where a handmade shoe and custom insert is made for the patient.

• Heel pain is not always plantar fasciitis and needs an X-ray or Ultrasound. These types of pain can be disguised as fractures, bone tumors, etc.

• The only way to treat and cure an in-grown nail is to cut it out with correct instrumentation. Antibiotics will help the infection but not fix the problem.
