Level Four, a full service orthotic and prosthetic company with thirteen offices in the Southeast, has opened its newest office at 208 Ashville Avenue, Suite 16. Two of the company’s most seasoned orthotists staff the new office. Heather M. Davidson, CO worked previously for Duke University and in the Boston area. Jim Butts, CO has worked for Wake Forest University, Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, and Brenner Children’s Hospital. Together, they have more than thirty years of experience in the field.
While they serve a variety of patient needs, Heather and Jim have particular expertise in pediatric care, including the management of club foot, hip dysplasia, torticollis, developmental delays, toe walking, Spina bifida, cerebral palsy, scoliosis, pediatric sports injuries, and multiple other pediatric disorders and syndromes.
For pediatric patients with head abnormalities, Level Four has equipped the new clinic with a laser STARscanner, which creates a digital image of a patient’s head within seconds, replacing the traditional and more time-consuming casting process. The device also helps in the monitoring, assessment and management of abnormalities such as plagiocephaly, brachycephaly, scaphocephaly, and also with post-surgical cases involving custom helmets.
